The cottage is spacious, comfortable, and bright with stunning views. The communal rooms have dual aspect windows, allowing for plenty of natural light. The surrounding fields feature a charming Shetland pony named Romeo. It is in a rural setting but still close to Ballymena and Kells. The property was sparkling clean and our host Kathy was incredibly welcoming. She even left us milk, eggs, and bread, which was a lovely gesture. Another highlight was the pony Romeo, who provided great entertainment for the kids. The cottage had everything we needed for a wonderful stay, including a sun room where we enjoyed the winter sun while having a barbecue. The wood-burning stove added a cozy touch to our evenings. We also appreciated the attention to detail, like the steamer iron for our clothes. a fantastic holiday experience.
Transportation can be a bit challenging, especially if you don't have a car. It's worth planning your trip in advance to avoid any logistical issues.
